Gloves and plastic rats littered the ice as the Stanley Cup champion Panthers met the Edmonton Oilers in the handshake line. It was a hard-fought series, with each team winning three consecutive games before Game 7 ended with a 2-1 Panthers victory. The 2024 Stanley Cup Final was only the 18th championship series to go to Game 7 in NHL history and the first since 2019. It was also only the fourth time the Panthers played in a seven-game series.
