TOM FITZGERALD MODIFIED SOCKS, 1995-1996

Tom Fitzgerald wore these socks during the spectacular 1995-1996 season. If you look closely at the upper left corner, you can see where a trainer darned these socks, hoping to get more use out of them. In the early days, the Panthers probably did not have a bottomless equipment budget, so players and trainers frequently modified or repaired equipment to extend its life.
