When Panthers GM Dale Tallon arrived for Game 3 of the 2016 Eastern Conference First Round, he must have felt proud. The team featured a great mix of young stars whom Tallon had drafted, like Jonathan Huberdeau and Aleksander Barkov, trade acquisitions like Roberto Luongo and Jaromir Jagr, plus veteran leaders like Brian Campbell whom Tallon convinced to sign with the team.
