Mike Vernon stopped 124 out of 136 shots during the series against the Devils, an impressive stat against the team that would go on to win the season’s Stanley Cup. This save came in Game 3 of the 2000 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, during which Vernon stopped 38 out of 40 shots.
