Roberto Luongo may have hung up his skates for good in 2019, but no. 1 still managed to take the ice one last time before his number was retired…sort of. On the day of Lu’s jersey retirement ceremony, the whole team warmed up in Luongo jerseys, officially marking the final time any Panthers player would skate with no. 1 on their back.
