MR. 485!

Roberto Luongo celebrated a 4-3 OT road victory over the Colorado Avalanche on February 25, 2019. The win was no. 485 for Luongo, who passed former Panther Ed Belfour as the third-winningest goalie in NHL history (Luongo remains no. 4 on the all-time wins list as of 2024.) While the game was a big personal win for Luongo, the star goalie’s mind was on something bigger. His postgame analysis boiled down to one conclusion: “It’s fun,” said Luongo of his career milestone. But at the end of the day “my goal is to try to win a Cup.”
