A “TRULY NEAT EXPERIENCE” FOR HEROES

The 2016 preseason trip to West Point was a positive experience for everyone involved. Panthers forward Nick Bjugstad explained that coming to the school and getting to see what the cadets experience helped the team learn mental toughness. At the same time, the team was able to provide entertainment to cadets and their families. Army hockey’s head coach Brian Riley noted, “It’s not an everyday opportunity where you can see an NHL game. To have the game here is a truly neat experience for the entire military installation.”
