VIDEO: LUONGO PAYS TRIBUTE TO MSD, 2018

Watch Roberto Luongo, a longtime resident of Parkland, give an impassioned speech following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School mass shooting. In the team’s first home game after the massacre, Luongo told MSD students: “You guys are an inspiration to all of us. At the end of the day, you guys are what’s giving us hope for the future. Thank you.” The Panthers honored the 17 victims by wearing MSD patches on their jerseys for the rest of the 2017-2018 season.
