Teammate Kyle Okposo described Evan Rodrigues as “a bit of a chameleon” because of his ability to play up and down the lineup. In the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Rodrigues found a home on the Panthers second line with Sam Bennett and Matthew Tkachuk. “Bennie and Chuckie are a lot of fun to play with, especially come playoff time,” Rodrigues said. “Two guys who play hard, play physical and play with a lot of speed.
