BARKOV SKATES PAST WEISS ON CATS LIST

Aleksander Barkov skated in his 655th career game on March 25, 2023, passing Stephen Weiss for second-most in team history. Not only did the captain take the ice, Barkov also scored two goals (though the Cats fell to the New York Rangers at home, 4-3). At of the end of the 2022-2023 season, Barkov needed to suit up in only eight more games to pass former teammate Jonathan Huberdeau (671) for the most in franchise history.
