After losing Game 1 of the First Round, Panthers fans used rally towels to cheer on the Cats in Game 2. Aaron Ekblad and Aleksander Barkov got things started with a goal each in the first period, followed by a trio of scores from Mason Marchment, Anton Lundell and Carter Verhaeghe in the second frame. Florida’s offensive outburst easily handled the Washington Capitals for a 5-1 win, which tied up the series.
