HUBY’S RECORD-BREAKING HELPERS

Jonathan Huberdeau was the ultimate helper during the 2021-2022 season. On March 31, Huberdeau set up a power-play goal for his 71st assist of the season, a new NHL record by a left wing. He broke the nearly 30-year-old record set by Joe Juneau in 1992-1993. Three left wingers of three different teams passed Juneau’s mark at the end of the 2021-2022 season, but it was Huberdeau who came out on top with a league-leading 85 assists and a new franchise record.
